USB apple CarPlay music skips.

I have a 2022 Tacoma and there are times when I plug in my phone thru USB port the music skips and buffers. So I unplug and connect thru Bluetooth only and music plays fine. This only happens once in a while but then on the next time I drive somewhere it works fine. Not sure what’s the cause? Some people say it’s cause I need the original iPhone usb cable? But I am using the original iPhone cable as I just got this phone and cord is brand new from the box. No idea how to fix this? Anyone have this same issue or knows how to resolve this??
