USB Outlet Wiring Question

Its not as bright as it looks.

 

Thought it was going to be a distraction, but I hardly notice it.

 

Looks good. Did you end up wiring it to 1 of the rear power window fuses? If so, it would be cool to print a label on the computer to stick on the fuse diagram.

 

Used the wipers actually. Running out of room.

 

If you can find the wire out the back of the fuse block, for the rear windows, you can tie into that and you won't need an add a fuse.

 

I got lazy and it was hot out. So I took the easy path.

That would be good though. Literally running out of room on my fuse panel, so I'm going to have to find something to tap if I want to add any more options. Run an inline fuse (think that's what they're called) off it.

 

If you use the rear PW fuse circuits, you don't need inline fuses. The PW relay feeds 4 fuses. The wires from the LR and RR fuses go to the kick panels and just dead end. You can use either of those circuits for whatever you want.

Pic up matching usb on off switch that fit next in open blank then you can turn it on any time you want .

What did you do to pop out that blank? Those top ones aren't as easy as the bottom ones.

 

Just drill a small hole in it and put a screw in and pull it out or you just just put a self tapping screw in it and pull it out that way. I've seen some pry it out, but most likely that will scratch the sides.

 

I should be good for USB ports lol!

 

Where did you get the smaller ports that go under the stereo? I need to add some there too.
