    Update and a bump.

so it won’t fit in the tall one but it will the shorter one. No biggy.

The included harness has an in-line fuse and ring terminals. Is there anywhere on the driver’s side fuse panel I can direct wire to 12V without using an add-a-fuse?

When I put mine in , I ended up having to use an add a fuse.

Any particular reason for the aversion to using an add a fuse? It’s a simple and clean way to power the USB port without having to run wires to the battery or splice into factory wiring.

Also, if you haven’t already purchased the other USB port I highly recommend this one as it will give you quick charging capabilities. It’s not clear if the one you linked has that feature

I'm not averse, just curious. I have some add-a-fuses to use and am just waiting on a replacement fuse cover with openings on the side. If that's the easiest way, I'll just wait.

I went with this version as I have several USB-C devices.
