    Perfect! I'll send all of your equipment with its packaging when I'm done with your kit.

    It doesn't really work like that. The ones I send out with my kits are programmed to work with the radios that I send out with them. I'd need a pioneer radio to program one for it, and I don't have one.

    Just a quick update;

    Worked on the kits in production yesterday and today. The new body filler I'm using is a bit harder to work with but with the right methods and some patience, it is a MUCH better alternative to what I was using before. I'm finally happy with how these kits are turning out. Tonight I brought all 3 kits up to the point where all they need is a couple light coats of primer and a fine sanding before they are ready for paint. I'll post pics as soon as they are painted and they will ship out the next day.

    bp7861, which color did you decide on for your kit? I believe we had agreed on flat black but I cannot find the email that confirmed this.

    Kits are at the body shop that paints for me. I guess they're pretty busy because turn around time is normally a day and it's been three. Should have them back on Monday or Tuesday.

    Hey guys just wanted to give a quick update regarding the kits that are in production. Talked to my body shop today and they are taking their time with them AND charging me more than my last one that I had them paint. I should be able to pick them up after work tomorrow. Even so, this means that they will not be ready until next week because of the holiday. I'll update the OP soon to amend my price to reflect the extra cost for glossy kits and change my production time to take into account the time spent waiting on other people and parts :pout:

    Thats ok man, so we will have to pay the extra cost for the glossy kits?

    Also do you know if my steering wheel controls would work with out the HU using only the iPad with an iStreamer and the equalizer?

    No, the current kits in production will not reflect a price increase, I'll just have to suck it up this time, especially sinc it's taken so long. I'll look into your steering wheel control question later on.

    Luis, it looks like that iStreamer does not provide iDevice control at all, meaning there is no way to have any external controls.

    Have you already purchased that? That is one hell of a price tag for what it is. I don't think it's worth that kind of money at all. And that silly little indicator which tells you your supposed resolution is bogus if your music is not in loss-less format to begin with.

    Maybe check out the iPure i-20. That's what I'm using in my truck at the moment, and it provides you with analog AND digital outputs, leaving room for further system expansion, like adding high end digital audio processor. It is also controlled through an IR remote control, which makes it possible to integrate it with your steering wheel controls with the right wiring and ingenuity.

    Thanks for the info man! I haven't purchased the iStreamer but I was getting it for 100 bucks so it didn't seem too much. I'll look into that iPure, so with this one do the steering wheel controls work?

    Yes, you will need a couple extra parts and some wiring / programming, but I have it set up in my truck right now with working steering wheel controls. The iPure should be about $100 and I think it's still a better buy. That iStreamer has less features and I know that the iPure has a pretty good DTA converter in it (which is all the iStreamer really is). And like I said, unless you have all of your music in loss-less formats to begin with (which hardly anyone does), you won't even be able to tell the difference in music quality between these two devices or any other DTA out there.

    Good so how much will the extra parts, wiring, programing for it will be? Also how did you connected your lightning ipad to the 30 pin iPure?
