Just for clarification, the $295 is for the trim kit only. I can make wiring kits, but I do not have package pricing for that yet. Wiring will be priced based on complexity, components, and features.

Is there any way to add an extra USB as well so that I can plug my phone in to play music as well? I have different things on my phone and iPad is the only reason I ask.

Yes, I can wire up a setup that will allow an auxiliary input.

Great idea. Currently have a '14 with the touchscreen; otherwise I'd be all over it!

The stock entune radio is complete garbage and I'd love something like this. I'm interested for my '14.

I am interested in an 05-2011 model - I did my own set up but this is far cleaner.

I can offer a pre-wired, pre-programmed for steering wheel controls, ready to mount behind iPad, plug and play Sony GS610BT radio for $360 shipped (Non JBL). This price covers all necessary parts, tax, shipping ($10), and one hour of labor at a standard fee adopted from my stereo shop (this takes much more than an hour to do correctly). I buy the components and head unit brand new from an authorized dealer for dealer cost. Prices are derived from the cheapest available prices found online.

I am currently in the process of building a kit for a member who is going this route with his setup, so I can post pictures of his once it's done.

This seems to be the most sense-able audio integration for an iPad for most people, based on what I've talked to prospective buyers, so far. There are cheaper ways to do it, but if you want steering wheel controls, bluetooth, and do not already have aftermarket amplifiers, this is the best way. The GS610BT offers a fluid operation for head unit control through the iPad, which allows retention of hands free bluetooth through your phone and am/fm radio (common features that are typically given up when using an iPad as your receiver).

So this would be a plug and play correct? Just remove stock radio from my 2014, install the one mentioned above and buy the mini iPad and I'm ready to go? And all the wires to hook up to existing harness?
