I’ve seen attempted copy cat products for sale on eBay and the like but I’ve only looked for 2nd gen stuff so don’t know if a 3rd gen option even exists from them.

Different center stack for 2012+. Can’t say I’ve seen anyone fit one for a 2012+ In a 2011- without completely swapping to a 2012+ dash.

I’d have to agree, add a couple of switches too.

@MESO is this something you've considered building before? The OP doesnt sell them anymore so the market is empty but still demand especially if it has your name on it and advertisement

I’m not seeing anything for a 3rd gen and the only reliable one I found was from sound man but I’m looking for a 3D printed entire dash replacement type thing where I don’t have to cut my dash apart and all that

any write ups of the actual wiring and install of the whole ipad system? ive got an ipad mini sitting on the shelf and an itch to install something with a screen on a low budget. Lower than an apple car play setup...

It’s actually quite self explanatory mate, follow the steps laid out by Shane in the earlier posts and it all just falls in place as all of the factory harnesses are there.

One caveat: if you have the JBL upgrade you may need an additional part that activates the factory amplifier.
