Ever have load capacity issues with your tacoma? I sure did. The rear leafs couldn't handle half a truck bed of wood before bottoming out. They are non tsb springs. I decided to run the Hellwig Ez-990 2000 lb capacity leaf springs with sumospring 1000 lb capacity bump-stops rather than swap leafs. The ride is firm but not harsh at all. When it has 250 or more lbs in the rear, the truck rides absolutely smooth. You can stack wood to the top of the cab and it wont even bottom out.The rear raised .75 to an inch. It completely fixed “bed hop”. Overall it rides like my 92 F150. I highly recommend this setup for anyone who needs a stout truck. It also retained lots of flexibility off-road.
