Alright while we're debating this guy hasn't responded at all. We can make a 10 page thread of opinions but is this guy actually going to buy a truck or what?

But since you mentioned it, I own a third gen, and interested in that thread. From what I see, there are unhappy campers, but the majority are satisfied.

The real question has always been, what is the fascination that draws some second gen owners to that thread to tell the third gen owners what a pos they are driving- anyone you know do this? Lol

Hopefully you are not going to tell me that I am somehow deluded or refusing to see the truth, since I am satisfied with my ride, lol.

We've done these polls. It's like 1/8 of the people here on the complainiest forum don't like their truck. Everyone else is stoked. The notion that this gen is only gonna have "half the run" is absurd.

I looks like a station wagon with a got milk plate, but instead says got ammo.

The "new dress" these 3rd gens got makes it look less homely.

 

Hey, my two cents..... Go drive a ‘17 with the 6 speed manual. Mind was bought a over Memorial Day. I only have 3K+ miles on it, but no issues. Runs great, smooth shifting. Big improvement over my ‘10 Wrangler I traded with 66K miles.
