    Hi all!
    After a few false starts, I finally got a Taco!

    I found a nice used 17, with 20k miles, and all the toys (tech, tow, and sound).

    By some fluke, this had been sitting around the dealership since November, so I haggled it down to $32K. (Side note:CarMax has comparable brand new one for $35k in Wisconsin. It's not transferable, and it was too much of a hassle for me, but it may be a great deal for somebody on the east coast)

    I got a $1750 7-year Toyota Platinum warranty, that I suspect is a bit overpriced, but I have a 60 day cancellation window so I can do a bit of research on my own time.

    I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and this will probably be a camping truck with occasional off road usage.

    No mods planned, but that's what we all say, right?

    Looking forward to participating here, and already I owe a big thanks to the community for helping me avoid a salvage title taco, which probably would have been a horror story.
