So I have a chance to buy a use supercharger on cl and I know people these days lie when they sell stuff. He says it has 20k on it but he is the 2nd owner so that's unbelievable anyways what else do I have to look for when buying one used. I know if the pully has play the bearings will have to be replaced. If I do go ahead and buy it I will rebuild it but im worried about the propellers. Anyone know if they can get tore up in there or replaced? Ive looked so I can't find much. Thanks guys

Steigmeier. Google them, they do wonders with superchargers.

I had mine rebuilt a month ago. The place that rebuilt mine said they can rebuild just about anything. Mine was a first gen gray one with a a lot of miles on it. From what they said it was in rough shape but they had no problems rebuilding it.

How much did the rebuild cost you?

I got mine done at PSE superchargers which was recommend to me, $800 but they had to rebuild the whole thing. Thats high compared to some of the other prices I hear on here. I went with a recommendation from gadget at URD, but there are a lot of places that rebuild these S/C.
