I have a 2005 Tacoma DCLB and the wife drives a 2005 Scion Xb. Both are good vehicles for what they do. Obviously, I prefer the Tacoma, but for an economical people mover/grocery getter, the Xb is a good car. It has plenty of room for 5 and even I fit OK in the back seats (I'm 6' 2", 235). My only gripes are lack of power with the 1.5L(but hey, it is a 1.5L after all - it's not supposed to have that much power) and absolutely no cargo room for longer trips unless you fold down the rear seats. If you need to haul stuff, get the Tacoma, if you need to haul people around town, get the Xb.

My first xB was a 2004. I knew it was underpowered but loved all the room inside. I really fell in love with my 2009 with the 2.4 litre engine and 150+ HP.
