Used Tacoma Prices (Buying/Selling)

Tried a few different searches for this, but nothing came up. So I figured I'd start one similar to the buying new thread, so folks know what our trucks are going for currently / based on location.

I bought mine a month ago, second Tacoma I've owned.

I'm in Manhattan, KS, but bought through vroom, because it was a better deal. Paid $36,500 plus $699 shipping for a 2017 DCSB TRDOR w/ 45k miles.

Had a few undisclosed imperfections in the paint and interior, and after negotiating with Vroom, got $1500 back. So my total or of pocket was 35,699 for this vehicle.**

** If anyone is buying from vroom and runs into issues with vehicle quality after receiving, shoot me a DM and I can share what I did to negotiate a refund from vroom.

 

This is all I have to say:

 

I used to really dislike KU when I was younger, but I'm at the point now where I just root for them during basketball (post) season** and for the cats during football.

**Because Lord knows the cats aren't doing much post season on a regular basis.

 

KU and the Cats ... fun institutions ... too bad they're in Kansas.

 

For comparisons sake, similar Tacomas at Little Apple Toyota were going for $39.5k and up, abd Sports with higher miles were at the same price point as my TRDOR.

 

Lived in Lawrence for a decade. It's an ok town overpriced on everything. Manhattan is a cool place I really dig the geography. And I like the Wildcats and always root for them. KU Basketball is fun too.
