Cut some aluminum stock and bent it into shape.
    upload_2021-1-17_9-24-46.jpg
Then drilled holes for LED and bolt
    upload_2021-1-17_9-26-39.jpg
    Turned out like this
    upload_2021-1-17_9-27-42.jpg
I used some cheap threaded LEDs
    upload_2021-1-17_9-41-15.jpg

Here’s a good spot to mount these bad boys.
    upload_2021-1-17_9-29-43.jpg
All ready to be wired up.
    upload_2021-1-17_9-32-1.jpg
I ran the power and ground from each to the drivers kick. Hooked the 12v to a 12v that I had previously ran to the battery for my bed lights. Hooked the negative to the trucks dome light trigger. It’s tan on the back of the fuse box.
    upload_2021-1-17_9-38-28.jpg
    Hope this helps someone.

Very nice! Any idea if that's the same dome light wire for the 2nd gen (2012)?

Any intentions on selling a few or sharing the dimensions of the aluminum? Length and maybe a round about of the degree of the angle?

    Killer idea and nice fit/finish!

We have a 2nd driveway I keep my boat on. Has no lighting. Makes hooking up a lot easier. I might not step on a snake now.

Nice post, great write up, good job. Now all we need is a puddle to test it out

    you are still making these?

Puddle lights under the truck are no problem... once the power/ground are in the cab, they hook directly to this? Can have them come on with Cargo, or add a switch and control in dependently as well?

Sorry if dumb questions.... just trying to get my head around it.

I've done some other internal LED wiring in the past, but always just to the power circuit I was looking for... like lit LED cupholders.

Various ways to run them, slave to Cargo switch, alone to unlock/door open circuit, added switch to cargo switch, etc.

Sorry but no. Very simple to make. You could just drill out and bend a L-bracket from a hardware store.

It looks like you might be able to mount those leds the OP used directly in the mirror housing.
