Hey guys, bought this truck back in August of 2019 and figured I'd start a build thread.

Everything's been pretty basic so far but eventually I'd like to get a real suspension set-up and get this thing off the road.

Sitting on the lot right before I signed:

First step was the easy/cheap stuff. Just spent $35k on a truck and promised myself I wouldn't spend any money on mods until I paid it off (what a lie)

Debadged, removed the dealership decals, added some tailgate letter inserts, and plastidipped the grill bezel.

Got the windows tinted, did 20% up front to match the rear. The fronts ended up looking way darker from the cab, so I went back and got 35% installed over the factory rear stained glass.

Plastidip job on the grill bezel wasn't up to my standards... so I went and bought the factory black grill bezel from Toyota. Somehow walked out with a TRD skidplate too.

Got drunk and got on Amazon... ordered an MBRP exhaust, RC 2" front spacer kit, and a 1" block for the back. Too bad I didn't get so wasted I accidentally ordered Kings....

Then things got expensive... Black Friday rolled around and there were deals everywhere.

The Retrofit Source ran a deal on the Morimoto XB Headlights for $925 shipped with free XB fogs. I had been wanting to get rid of the chrome headlights but I didn't want to buy some junk output lights from eBay. This deal popped up and I bit the bullet. Also ordered some MESO Ultimate Turn Signals to complete the chrome delete on the exterior.

Went on a road trip to Colorado in late December/early January and I wanted a tonneau cover to help with the MPGs.

I still hadn't paid off the truck, but I wanted wheels and tires. Black Friday strikes again. It took me 3 months to get my wheels, but they finally showed up in January.

Took them up to my local shop to get them installed. My favorite mod so far.

Paid off my truck in exactly 6 months. I told myself I wouldn't spend any money on mods until I had it paid off, but I think I spent ~$2500 on mods before I did. Now it's time to save up for some real suspension.
