Using a 2or 3000 Inverter off a '99 2.4 alternator?

    Does anyone know the amp output of the alternator on a (1999) 2.4 liter Tacoma xtra cab, or where I can find the info?

    I would like to be able to run a 2 or 3000 pure sine inverter off of it, but I think I'm dreaming. (for some power tools)
