Using A Car Dolly As Tire Lift...?

    I think that the first time I use it will be a trial and error affair. I ordered the HF Daytona unit. Hopefully there won't be too many modifications to make it work to my liking. I'm remaining optimistic....

    I received the HF car dolly and saw one item that needed attention. The ends of the rollers contact the main beam and/or the flat stock by the far wheels. Easy fix. I cut to fit some spare Kydex I had and used silicone to hold them in place.No more metal to metal contact and a tire spins freely without any drag. The dolly will lift a tire 3 1/4"- 3 1/2" so that should be fine. The wheels roll easy on a smooth surface but in my case (gravel driveway) I will need a piece of plywood or OSB.....IMG_3929.jpg IMG_3930.jpg IMG_3931.jpg IMG_3928.jpg
