I keep mulling over the possibility of switching out the stock HU (Entune Premium), but if I do I want full functionality of all the various controls and components. I've heard mixed things about the factory antenna so I figured I would ask the experts. Can you use the factory Sirius antenna with say a Pioneer HU? I don't want to monkey with a different antenna if I don't have to. Maybe there's an adapter?

I've gotten much better responses from this forum. But thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, I know and I have posted things there. This forum, branch, what-have-ya just gets a lot more views and therefore responses, typically. You're probably right, though, maybe I'll post over there too. It might be a bit more of an obscure question that I thought too.

Yes you can keep stock Sirius and steering wheel controls. Need a Sirius adapter for your truck, plugs in behind the drivers side kick panel at the bottom left, then need to get an adapter for the steering wheel awsc-1, lost Bluetooth hang up and answer function on mine though. Go to crutchfield's website and has all the info you need as far as which adapter, you can also call them, good customer service.

Thank you for the response sir! This is what I was looking for. It sounds pretty simple, plug-and-play, then? I like the stock antenna just fine and don't want to have to re-route wires and drill new holes if I don't have to. I assumed there would be some sort of adapter, but that little tid-bit of info seems hard to find.

Rims and tires , exhaust , stereo , Bhlm ,Changed carpet to black from grey. toytec ultimate lift kit. Allpro front bumper and light bar. In process of blacking out interior. Otrattw switches, black vinyl armrest mod, clazzio leather seat covers with heaters, flowmaster dual exhaust, hornblasters train horns,
Got adapter cable off of eBay. Had to drop headliner, run cable from antenna to kenwood head unit. Crutch field can help you with stealing wheel modules to keep those controls. They can be a pain to program.
