I need TWs help! I owned a 2005 Toyota 4Runner SR5 and I forgot to turn in my extra key fob. Fast forward to today and I still have it and want to use it on my taco. Any idea if it will work?

I tried programming it the other day, but I couldn't get my truck into "programming mode", to test the fob so I don't know if my taco isn't accepting it or if I am just screwing something up.

Any ideas on A) putting my taco into programming mode so I can test the fob or B) if the fob will even work or am I wasting my time?
