My truck seems way more responsive with the ETC on. I use it when we go to Capitol city for bacon and beans. In

I feel that it is a bit more responsive, and do use it for daily driving (almost all city driving) If I was going try and explain it, I would say it is slightly remapping my throttle pedal. Something like if I am at 20% actual pedal travel, it feels like I am at 30%. I don't think there is a bit of extra power or torque, it just feels like I am pushing the throttle farther. Not sure if this translates.

I like the added responsiveness that the ECT power mode offers. Makes driving over paved mountain roads funner. Wish they would've placed the button on the shift knob though.

I believe it remaps the transmission and cam timing. More response and the feel of more power I have 265-65-17. Nitto ridge grapplers. It shifts into 6 gear about 65 or 70 ETC off it shifts into 6 th gear at 45 if you use light throttle

This button actually makes big DIFF in my case. It literally skips whole 2 and jumps to 3.. 2 seems usually where it holds longest , causing engine to literally choke in there. But that damn button made me feel like i was sitting in my 03 4runner when it lifted nose up.

He has AC on, not sure if it would make bigger diff. 2 sec diff

Old thread! A green "ETC" shows up on the dash when it is on.

Same. I’ve heard people say they get better mileage with this but I’ve only experienced the opposite.

Best add on ever for my purposes, on the daily I’m getting 23.3 MPG in green sport number seven mode when I first test drove my truck. The dealer didn’t know what it was and they accidentally had it on red race nine talk about a neck snapper.
+2 more features with this you can lock out throttle response and or you can put it on valet mode which reduces the output to 30% (at least I hope I have that percentage correct) IMG_2170.png
