I'm looking for any help on clarifying the orders and "rules" for EAS'ed personnel regarding running suits.

I know that when I got out, the last order was in order for it to be "appropriate" only the jacket may be worn with civilian attire zipped at least 1/2 way up.

and for pt gear it had to be the full suit.

Now, I'm out, and frankly this suit is awesome as far as comfortability for pt and I wear the pants and a under armor or other workout shirt with them when I do pt. Is it totally in the wrong for me to do this or do I need to obey the MCO and pretty much stuff this nice pt suit into a seabag with all the other military shit i'm never going to wear again?

Wear it how you want. You're out, they're not going to come find you and make you wear it the USMC way. All I would ask is you not wear it in a way that is disrepectful to the Corps, like wearing an Alpha blouse with jeans etc.

Pretty much like Medic stated, do with it what you want. I still wear my Gortex occasionally and desert cover when I'm in the sun working on the yard or the beach, no emblems anywhere though.

That's what I figured. My wife is still at drilling reservist and she's all about MCO's and such...although I outrank her so I can tell her to go pound sand. lol . But yeah, no disrespectful wearing and such... Saw a guy i went to high school with at the mall that got kicked out, had his desert blouse on like a jacket, both name tapes on it still. luckily the recruiter spotted him before I got to him.

You're over thinking it. It's just pt gear. Now if you wore your cammies on the other hand....

Sometimes I'll wear my skivvy shirt or sweats to the gym or on a pt moto run. I'll also wear my boonie cover while on hikes in the civilian world.

You earned the right to wear it so wear it proud, in a non-motard way of course. :D

I'm a reservist that's been in for 4.5 years so far and my running suit is still wrapped up in its original packing. i'll bust it open when I EAS. haha
