It’s as if someone drastically slashed their budget and got rid of a bunch of their automatic sorting machines. I think I remember hearing something about that around 15 months ago.

I'll take USPS over just about anyone else.

Recently experienced a (non)delivery from UPS. Since the door camera was never activated and the package was NOT at the front door where the driver supposedly delivered it, I'm pretty sure it went elsewhere. No neighbors had it, either. We started tracking it, and lo and behold, 3 days later it showed up...in the mailbox enclosed in a USPS envelope which held my items in a UPS envelope. WTF? We have no idea what circuitous route this package took, but glad as hell to finally get it.

FedEx seems to be the worst. Do drivers even glance at the address on the package and compare to the address in big numbers on the side of the house????? You know, trust your damn GPS but VERIFY?????

We had a business also, but several times being here in connecticut our packages were delivered to similar business as ours to a town of the same name in n.h.
All said they were pretty good otherwise.

    The saga continues......
Will my package go to the Akron post office for delivery tomorrow? Will a postal worker from Akron Ohio see this post and intercept my package for their own use?
Or, will my package get to go to Alaska without me?

I 100% agree with this. 8/10 times I have a package “delivered” via FedEx it’s dropped at the wrong address or just never arrives and I have to request a refund from the seller. I also get packages with other addresses dropped at my door at least twice a week. They hire completely incompetent people.

Last year when I spent $1,000 on a set of Black Rhino wheels, my heart sank when I saw the seller shipped them via FedEx. Sure as shit, FedEx lost the wheels. I was furious and had to make about 10 phone calls before they found them at a warehouse in a different state despite the fact that I had been receiving notifications for 3 days in a row that the wheels were on the truck and “out for delivery”.

USPS has become horrible also. A day rarely goes by that I don’t get someone else’s mail or a neighbor comes over with a piece of my mail. Never used to be like that here, I’ve just noticed it in the last few months.

UPS is trash….. I have more faith in usps…

I’ve had firearms shipped from the manufacturer to me via UPS. Every time it is a nightmare..

This requires a signature. So I do my due diligence and scheduled the delivery to arrive in a window I know I’ll be home.

    It never arrives.

I go to the hub to pick it up the next day and they are closed. The hours were ridiculous, something like 9-11 and then 3-5. Eventually I got it.

One occasion I requested it be held for pick up, and it was returned to sender!! WTF.

Also, they love to drop the package, ring the doorbell and walk off. I fucking hate this. It is loud, sets the dog off, wakes the baby..

Funny, because where i live UPS has always been the absolute best. USPS sucks the donkey, and FedEx always delivers packages to the wrong home. I actually stood in the road one day and made the fedex truck stop. I made the driver tell me what my address was, on the mail box, on a big sign in the front yard. Then had him tell me the address where he just delivered my package. He then just stared blankly when it was obvious he was always fucking up.

It's sort of depressing to see that the shoes I ordered online have gotten to see more of the U.S. in the last two weeks than I have in my 36 years of living here

Literally waiting on a late usps delivery right now. Their timeliness and updates are useless. FedEx is better than usps these days.

UPS here is usually the best. Post master is a world class fat lazy *****. She will sit on her office reading a magazine when there is a single counter open and 20 people in line. I regularly have to go in and give them a tracking number so they can figure out where they delivered my packages to. I had one delivered to a house 5 miles away when it was addressed to my PO box.
UPS knows that if the door isn't open when they start walking up, no one is home and he goes down the driveway to the garage instead and puts the delivery inside the door. UPS freight is almost always within 1/2 hr of arranged time and the drivers always call when they are turning up the road.
FedEx, well, they are in the same class as USPS with delivering to the wrong place.

My latest USPS package took 28 hours from departure to arrival on a 1.5hr drive and is now showing as scheduled to be delivered 5 days late.

USPS and FedEx are the two worst offenders for me in Utah lately.

My favorite was FedEx trying to deliver to a business address at 4:18am and then saying it was my fault nobody was there to receive the box. The kicker was it was a "ghost" delivery. The CS line didn't believe me until I offered to show them the CCTV footage of them *not being there* at 4:18, but even more curious was that it departed the FedEx distro center at 4:02am, attempted delivery at 4:18, but its a 30+ min drive from where the truck left from. o_O

I don't buy much online, since the supply chain issues I have stopped purchasing online altogether. The few things I have bought have a shown up no problem.

Over the summer I dropped a lawn mower off at someone's house. I wasn't sure if I was at the right house. Saw some packages on the porch, checked the address on the packages. Nope not the house numbers where I was supposed to be. Loaded the mower back up drove down the street. Then I saw a house that matched the numbers on the packages at the house I just left from. This house was five address away, and across the road from the first house. I turned around and took the mower back to the original house. I can't recall if the packages came ftom fedex or amozon. I bet those packages are still sitting there on the wrong side of the road.

Funny Ive always had good luck With FedEx in this area. But it seems not a ton of retailers use them by default.

Interesting. FedEx and UPS are reliable here. I shipped a package via USPS on the 14th of last month. Tracking info says it hadn't arrived yesterday. Gotta check it later.
