USR DEPO Headlights Clear Coat Pealing less than 1 year

Anyone else seeing this? My DEPO headlights I bought from Unique Style Racing are falling apart in less than a year. The clear coat is falling off already. I live in San Diego so the weather is pretty good. Anyone know why this could be happening or have any solutions to fix it?

 

Why not email the company and see what they say?

 

I did, they have a 6 month warranty. Since it was a year there is nothing they can do.

I am more curious about if anyone has seen this before and what they have done to fix it.

Ah gotcha, you can wet sand them, then polish them. I did it to my wifes lexus when her headlights were doing that.

 

Did you wax them? You should wax them whenever you wax your truck same with the tail lights

 

Just have a local auto body shop clear them.. my buddy at Mercedes does it all the time for people

 

I replaced a leaking OEM housing with a DEPO on my Highlander. It leaked after a year, went back to OEM. Guess you get what you pay for.

 

Remember the saying: Good parts not cheap, cheap parts not good

 

One of my OEM headlights is doing that, though not as bad, after less than 2 years. Going to try to get it warrantied next week when I take it in for the 20K service.

6 months.... that's unheard of lol. At least 1 year.
