UTAH (and Surrounding Areas) BS Thread

Forget other states they are just fun to visit. Utah has all my needs taken care of (good job market, family friendly, and the best outdoors etc)

 

Utah is an amazing place with endless out door activities I think you'd love it especially you wanting to get out of the city!

Do it. I came here from the East Coast 8.5 years ago and I'm still kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

And snow? The Wasatch had it in spades, but the greatest part is that relatively speaking we get very little in the Salt Lake Valley, so not a lot of shoveling at home. Congrats man! I just moved here a few weeks ago and so glad I did. Of course, I moved from Ohio so it was a bit more of a move but so worth it.

 

Can anyone recommend a powdercoating shop in the SLC area? Any place to stay away from?

 

Just came out to salt lake to visit some friends. It's beautiful here, quite a change from wv. We only have 2 days here , from what we have seen it looks like an amazing place to raise children. Wish I had my taco here , so much off road fun here.

 

Are any of you Utah guys over here in GA? Saw an all black lifted 1st gen with black wheels and with one of those really big camper tops with a Utah plate on I285 this morning

 

Unfortunately there is actually a lot of lifted rigs out here but a lot of them don't get on forums and such

That could have been me, I was driving on 285 west yesterday morning. Grew up in GA but I go to school in utah and have utah plates. I was home for the summer and I'm in the middle of driving back to school now.

Just wanted to throw this out there for any of you Utah guys. Would anyone be interested in buying my used Bestop Supertop? Its for 2nd gens with short beds so 5' beds. I got it a few years ago but only had it on the truck for about 10 months and its been sitting in my garage ever since. I took it off cause I had to transport my dirt bike a lot. Let me know if your interested and I'll come up with a good price.

Jack it suspension in west valley does solid work. I've had work done by them, they're good to work with. Check em out

 

^^ lifts are easy to install man. TOYTEC has really good instructions, regardless of the brand. If you have any mechanical ability and access to a place to install it you can do it with two people and a 12 pack. The AAL can be a bitch, but that's what friends are for.

 

So I decided to turn into a post at my apartment complex this morning as I was backing out. Damage was pretty extensive; new fender, flare, maybe a new bumper. Hopefully the headlight and hood is still good. Can anyone recommend a good body shop in SLC? I want it fixed right. Man this sucks!
