Well, Looks like I found the thread I wanted!

New here. T4R guy in PG. Really I just wanted to meet a few more utah toyota guys. Glad I found this thread.

So I'm planning on going to play in the snow around the entrance to 5-mile on Saturday the 21st, does anyone want to come? I'm not really planning on doing anything serious because I'll be bringing a girl with a stock Rav4 along because she wants to just try it out. If you guys want, I might be down to actually do some trails in 5-Mile if she's willing to park the Rav4 but since my rear suspension is still pretty much shot I'll have to take it easy too.

 

I went to five mile a bit ago and the snow was nice and deep, loads of fun to play in

 

I'm down for sure! If I have the gas money!

 

Looking to get my ECGS bushing installed, is anyone from UTAH capable of doing this for me? Or can anyone recommend a good shop or mechanic?

Hi guys, for some reason I can't get onto Facebook lately... so I haven't been able to check if anybody has put up a shortbed shell. If you see one, can you let me know? I have a 2012 in white and am looking for a shortbed white shell obviously. I have an Undercover Flex on my Tacoma that has barely ever been exposed to weather. My truck has a total of 8,000 miles on it and it normally just sits in the garage bored to tears. If anybody locally is looking for an Undercover Flex let me know as well. I'd love to trade it plus cash on my part for a shell (love the Snugtop Rebel I think it is...).

Yes, I check KSL about 25 times a day. The one that would have worked sold about five minutes before I got a hold of the guy. Most of them are for 1G's or longbeds it seems. If you find one there or anywhere, send it on. Finder's fee!

I think I would if I didn't have kids. I need a solid topper to keep their equipment for anything/everything in when I transport them around. Nothing worse than trying to re-buy baseball/football/soccer/dancing/biking/scooter gear repeatedly because it "walks away" from my truck. Somebody already lifted like $2000 in slowpitch softball bats from me last year. Ugggh.

 

I just wanted to add one thing (unrelated). I haven't posted in quite a while due to a lot of different stuff. But I had mentioned before that we were building a house with an extra garage. It's all done and we're living here. We're in Lehi just off of Pioneer Crossing. My backyard line is the Jordan River so we're close to Redwood Road.

If anybody needs to do some work on your truck this winter, you're welcome to come here and do it. With a 2 car garage and then an additional 1 car (extra long) then we have the space, and I have some pretty decent tools (air tools and such). I just wanted to throw it out there because I know you guys have work you want/need to do during the cold months that ends up having to be put off, and I'm happy to host/help out if you need to change out an alternator or anything else that you don't want to do in the parking lot at your place or in your driveway. Feel free to drop a note if you need something done. I retired from teaching about a month ago and just hang out at home and take care of my kids and play video games. 40 and retired=not bad (but broke!).
