I would like to report that there was pretty good powder, and a good amount of it. By utah standards it was wet and 10" is a normal storm, but Boise has just been shit again this winter so it was probably the best snow I've ridden all year. First tracks, soft and plentiful. Was pure sex today. Thank you Utah!

    Going up again tomorrow!

    Check the build thread.
I just moved to Utah (Provo area) in August and am loving the outdoors here!

Took a quick trip to a little fishing hole out by Sundance the other day.

Stuff and things that make it better.
I'm going to take a small trip around the Great Salt Lake this week, just seeing if anyone wants to tag along. Probably going to leave either Thursday or Friday morning and camp one night. Map of route attached.

    Leaving from SLC.
Point B is the Spiral Jetty, haven't been out to see it since I was a kid.
Point C is Coyote Hot Springs (109 F), never been here but if it ends up being a nice spring, maybe stay here over night.
Point D is a random camping spot, could change if something cooler is found.
Point D is the Sun Tunnels earth art, never been here either.
Point F is Wendover, gas up and head home. It's about 450 miles round trip.

Off loading my Delta truck bed tool box. Pulled it off my 98 Mazda B4000 when i traded it in on my '14 Tacoma. I'm getting a shell for the taco so wont be needing it anymore. First $100 takes it.

I didn't even plan on going. I just got po'ed and decided to go for a drive. I ended up at 5 mile eventually. Then I was goofing around and said, "Hey idiot, let's film some." So I grabbed my phone and went for it.

Feel free to watch and laugh. Also... while I'm at it. Who has a good cheapo system for an iPhone 5s or iPhone 4 even that I can mount somewhere upfront to make videos like this? And I promise to make them landscape in the future. If nothing else, you get a pretty good idea of how narrow the roads are and how bumpy they are.

They are bone dry now though, so it's a good time to go up. I'm happy to go any day or time if anybody wants to go up there and look around. I only needed to go into 4h one time for about 30 seconds, but again I didn't get too crazy. I even saw a family tooling around in a Chrysler Town and Country. Much respect to them, because they cleared a road I backed out of after about 100 yards because it was getting dark and I was concerned about making a turn that banked too hard. They made it fine though (I watched just in case they got in trouble, but Dad went VERY slow and didn't do anything crazy).

Enjoy (or get dizzy and vomit... and seriously.... camera mounting solution up front would be great!). :)
