Cool. We are in our second house in Syracuse that's about a half mile east of you near Bluffridge Elementary School. But our first house was right there very close to RC Willey. Great area.

 

I am planning on doing it this year. DO IT! I need another wheeling buddy.

 

I was just up there yesterday, doing some exploring and hiking up in the Tibble Fork Reservoir area, up by Holman Flat in AF Canyon. Was a beautiful day and great to get out!!

Went up AF Canyon today. I have never been up there being from the northern part of state but wow there are a ton of places to explore. I ended up at the beginning of Forest Lake and there is quite the boulder field going on right at the beginning. I watched 2 razors get stuck and high centered trying to get through. 1 finally made it but the other gave up and left. Looks like it would be a fun trail though with a good spotters and some sliders. I am still a little attached to my truck to risk major damage yet so I didn't go too far.

 

That first part is the toughest it's a great trail. Ud need sliders though

With a spotter you got forest lake with out sliders for sure we did it in the gf frontier which is much lower than the stock Tacoma lol.

Worst part about forest lake is trying to get around people while your going up and their coming down I think

 

Yup, especially on a busy weekend and people take there full width buggys.. Haha

 

Don't forget the famous Forrest Lake Rut. People just stop and stare at this forever.

 

I may or may not have tipped my old tj in that last year..

 

Haha nice we'll made it to forest lake trail but a snow drift stopped us about half way up.
