Ok so I spoke with Cabelas and they are fine with us meeting there. So plan on the 22nd at Cabelas at 11am. It is now set in stone.

 

What's the plan for the 22nd? Wife's out of town and I'll be climbing the walls so I may be interested. Taking the truck to the Uintas tomorrow to ski with my dog.

 

Meeting at Cabelas on the 22nd for some meet and greet with a bunch of other toy owners. We meet at 11am. This is posted on the UTAT FB group as well

1st Official Meet and Greet: AF Canyon 2014 Meet and Greet / Trail Run.

Meet at Cabelas off the Thanksgiving Point exit on Sunday June 22nd, 2014 at 11am. I confirmed today that we are good to go to meet there and we will need I the south end of the parking lot.

We have not had a meet and greet for UTAT or for the TW Utah group. Most of you are on the forums but it is hard to organize any type of event. So let's meet up, BS a bit and then go have some fun in AF Canyon. Even is your not gonna come wheel come stop by and say hello and meet some fellow members.

Trail to be run would be:

Forest Lake
Mineral Basin
Mary Ellen Gultch
Another I can't remember the name of

 

It's genna be pretty neat.

How long do you think it will take to do the trail run? I'm a noob when it comes to actually being off road and I might be bringing my 3 yr old son.. Not much spotting he can do.

 

If they run all those trails id say it will be a all day event depending on how many people get stuck/break or whatever.

 

I know you can do forest lake up and back in about 3 hours. Even if you just did one trail that would be sick!
