UTAH (and Surrounding Areas) BS Thread

Anyone in the UT county area have a 2"ish spacer floating around that I could borrow/buy for some suspension diagnostics? I've got some nasty noises coming from the wheel well and I want to eliminate the Kings as a culprit by reinstalling a stock unit with the spacer to maintain similar geometry. New ball joints top and bottom, UCAs, and coil overs. The only things left that I can imagine are lower control arm bushings or fluke misassembly of the coil over.

Any leads would be very much appreciated.

Check to your tie rod ends. I know I'm having that issue currently

 

The noise I'm getting happens mostly at 10-25 mph on rougher roads. Sounds like the tire is bouncing quickly with no dampening but there also is a metal on metal clanking/knocking and squeaking with the harder hits.

 

Saw this beaut as I walked out of class just barely at UVU

Looks like a 6 inch lift on toyo a/t open country tires.

 

Is the skid different from 12+ or would it fit my '08?

 

Could be sway bar bushing too. I have something similar going on with my truck and I am pretty sure I have narrowed it down to the sb bushings.

 

just take the sway bar off. see if it stops.

 

I would think it would fit. I would let you test fit it before you bought it.

 

My allpro bumper makes that sound as well....drives me crazy, will install a 1"body lift soon.

Sway bar has been off and ruled out. I ended up ordering some spacers to swap back the stock coilover on the passenger side to see what happens.

 

Just did Lockhart basin trail into Moab and was a blast. I know it's super short notice but we will be in town until Friday morn was wondering if there are any locals hat would be willing to take us out someplace tomorrow or can recommend a trail I have a 3" lifted TRD with a winch. If someone is willing to take us message me. Thanks

I'd run fins n thing, hells revenge, top of the world. They are fairly easy hells and fins are very close to main street

I just picked one of these wildernest campers up yesterday off ksl for free. This isn't mine, but it's the same. Needs some minor work on one of the corners of the shell, and the tent could use a new coat of waterproofing spray, but I'm pretty excited. Color doesn't match but I figured I can't go wrong with free. Anybody ever had one or know about them?
