Hi everyone. I have had my 14 DCSB O.R. Spruce Mica for about 8 months now. I haven't seen to many other Spruce Micas out there. Anyone have one? In my opinion it's one of the best looking colors, that and pyrite mica. I hear Toyota discontinued the color for 2015. I'm glad I ordered mine this year.

Personally I think Speedway Blue is the best color Toyota made.

Though I really enjoy my silver. My rig is pinstriped and scratched to hell but step back about 15 ft and its looks clean and pretty.

IMHO rad red is the best but swb is a close second the only 2 colors I would get to many whites silvers and blacks out there :D

LOL! They probably did. I think I have one out of maybe 3 in the valley. I had to order the Spruce mica because there wasn't a single dealership in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, or Colorado wth one on the lot. I'm happy I did though. I got the exact package I wanted. Got it with 3 miles on it. The JBL is sweet. It's one hell of a truck!

Have you ever seen the spruce mica in the sun? It looks really nice. Almost like some sort of gemstone. There are so few in Utah, not many people get to see them. In the dark or shade it looks black. Although Blue and red are great too. I say mix'em up!

One of my coworkers has a spruce mica. She loves it.
    I'm glad mine isn't.

Hey guys, I will be in Salt Lake around the end of January. Want to get some snowboarding in while I'm there. Where's the best snow? Not a park guy so that doesn't matter.

I haven't boarded any of the resorts on the front like brighton, solitude, alta, etc. But have spent a fair amount of time at the Canyons, Park City, and then Beaver Mountain up North. Honestly the Canyons has the most variety of anywhere I have gone. I really enjoy the terrain they have there.

What kind of terrain do you like to board? Steep stuff? Trees? Open Mellow slopes? Powder?

The wife prefers open mellow stuff, she just likes to cruise. I like the trees and powder.
The last time I was out, and only time I've ever boarded in Utah was some night runs at Brighton.

I would try out the Canyons. 34 turns off the Ninety Nine 90 lift is pretty steep at the beginning with some nasty moguls. If you can endure those the trees and powder following them is the best on the mountain. Take the wife over to dreamscape. It is clear at the south end of the resort and usually has the least amount of traffic. Lots of mellow slopes with some good powder in both open slopes and through the aspens.

Red Pine Road off the Tombstone lift is one of my favorites for natural terrain parks (It follows a big wash with lots of little play areas but is really flat at the end and many boarders end up walking)

Brighton is a popular spot for the boarders. Snowbird as well. Snowbird will offer more steep/deep than Brighton or Canyons, but any will have open mellow stuff.

Stuff and things that make it better.
You'll have fun at any resort you go to. I grew up at the bottom of Big Cottonwood canyon so I'm a little partial to Brighton and Solitude but they all have pluses and minuses. Give us a head's up in here when you get into town and I'm sure somebody can give you a tour.
