UTAH (and Surrounding Areas) BS Thread

I went up there today in a newer rental pathfinder and it was fucking terrible, at least in that thing. Couldn't even get up to the big sweeping hairpin with the overlook lol. Since only a few vehicles had been up it before me there were not many tracks and almost no definition between road and wall or more importantly road and drop off!

 

yeah, they really should shut that down around this time, its just flat out dangerous, those washouts, will have you rolling quite a while

 

So I ordered some hids and USPS said they dropped them off on my door at 1230 and I get home and lo and behold no box I mean wtf they don't even knock at the door my wife and kids were home so now I have to call them tomorrow and see if they know where the f$&@ my stuff is or how I get my money back from them sooooooo pissed right now

 

Lol usps is a flat out joke.

 

I think they hope people are smart enough to know their limits... I'd rather stuff like that be open so I could go up if I wanted to/had a capable enough vehicle to do it.

 

ya for sure, people just need to be smart about it, most are. but there are always a few people that can ruin it for everyone else.

 

does anyone know of any discounted day passes for any of the resorts?

You can go to The Lift House, any Ski 'N See, Level9, really most rental shops as well and buy lift tickets. They are anywhere from $5 - $20 less, depending on resort.

So after I started a claim with the post office yesterday miraculously my HIDs showed up on my doorstep today just got done putting them in Night and day difference my regular headlights I literally could not see anything I was like I didn't even have my headlights on now I can actually see really well

 

I saw a guy on KSL selling one for $80, but I was a day late I guess. His ad was gone. I figured we'd go back and forth on price and end at some where around $50-60 bucks.
