Yes, thanks again, you should definitely get yourself a copy. It's got pretty good descriptions of the trails and lots of good pics.

I am heading out there next tuesday for a 3 day Snowboard trip. just wondering how the conditions are. The plan is a night session tues at Brighton, Snowbird wednesday, Full day Brighton Thursday and Solitude Friday.

I have been checking the weather and it is calling for temps in the 40's next week.

honestly solitude is a waste of money, id run to park city for the day if i were u instead of solitude, its like the same thing as snowbird but way smaller, the park was perfect on sunday, and we got alittle snow yesterday so it wont be a powder day but the snow was really nice and crisp, as long as it dosnt get too hot..

I really enjoy solitude. I only get to ride for a few days a year. I have been there twice. The first time we hit it right after a 3' snow fall and Honeycomb was awesome. Last year was good. I like to ride fast groomers so solitude works well for me. We did the night session last year at Brighton as well, but it was almost a Blizzard so it wasnt that great. I want to hit the whole Mt. during the day. I grew up east coast skiing in VT, NY, ME, PA, and now I live is SC. I don't bother with anything down this way, and I only get a few days out west a year with a couple friends.

Our whole trip (minus food) Air fare, hotel, rental car, lift tickets will be around $750!

Cool. I just like to ride, tend to stay out of the park. Cruising/Carving/Free riding is what I like best. I gave up the parks when I was 20 something. I enjoy fast, controlled runs. The guys I go with are all skiers, they have a hard time keeping up (unless it gets flat ).

How is Mineral Basin at the Bird?

Brighton has had a good setup so far and they change their park every week. I love it

If there was a little more snow I would suggest Powder Mountain but I hear it's pretty uncovered still.

It's funny how different people at different dealerships can be. I called one to ask about lugnuts, since I bought some TRD wheels to swap out these ugly chrome XD wheels. He went on an on about how they might not fit, that every year has a different setup and they might hit the calipers. They are stock TRD off road wheels from a 2nd gen. He had the kit with 24 lugs for $135 but it's a special order item, because they "don't stock things like that". So, I call the next dealer, he says perfect, yes they will fit, I'll give them to you for $65 and will swap the wheels out for free.

    Woot!
