If you've never been through the Swell then we have to go that way. It's like a mini grand canyon of sorts. It should only add an hour or two to the drive depending on how much you want to stop and check shit out. There are a ton of trail reports over on Expedition Utah and NYCO did a trail report on part of it here.

I'm relatively new to Salt Lake and haven't been down to Southern Utah yet... planning on heading down this weekend. I'm sure it will be busy for Memorial Day weekend, but it's supposed to be rainy up here and I'm itching to try out my new rooftop tent.

I bought a book of trails in the Moab area, but my girlfriend and I don't really know where to go, or where to camp. So, any advice is appreciated! I'd like to bring my dog unless he's not allowed in a lot of places. I'm hoping to run some fun trails and camp at a spot with a view as far away from people as possible.

My truck has 33" tires, an air locker in the rear, sliders and high clearance bumpers.

    Any advice is appreciated!

seanpistol. If you are looking for a fun easy trail with some great views i always like onion creek, and if you know how to read a map at the top of the canyon you can take the kokopelli trail all the way back to moab, ITs long and bumpy I dont think i would drive it again. Potash road just north of moab will take you all the way into canyon lands There is camping right as soon as you leave the pavement and usually not a lot of people camping out there. The end of the trail is Shaffer switch backs.

I will be in the abajo mountains Tuesday till Thursday night then heading to rocky Therapy if anyone wants to see the best views of southern utah.

Hey Cutter, I bought a topper from Terry's Topper and they also do bed liners. They are the only place that I've experience with. This is their N SLC shop but they also have one on 3rd west and like 3900s. http://www.rhinotopsandtoys.com They were pretty accommodating and easy to work with. If I remember the owners name was Rocky. Also, this is Zach, Ashley's buddy. Lets get the trucks out when yours comes in. What are you getting?

For anyone that's not on EU, here's the latest info on what's going on up in AF canyon. It's pretty depressing.

Fuck snowbird man. I get both parties arguments but it's messed up. We have enough ski resorts in utah without coming into af canyon.

Anyone in Orem that could possibly do me a favor? I found a truck I might be interested in there and I was wondering if anyone could go check it out for me.
