I would like to get a Compustar remote start alarm installed. The only places that come up in the SLC area are Best Buy, Car Concepts, Audio Wizard, Audio Trim, and Audio One. Anyone have experience with any of these shops? Thanks

I had Toyota send me a new letter. Got it last week. No mention of the CRC campaign in the letter. Mine simply states they will inspect the frame, if perforation is found they will determine an appropriate remedy...this makes no sense to me, apparently the salt Utah uses is less corrosive than in the other areas they are coating the frames...(shrugs shoulders). I still plan to have mine inspected, and will then coat it myself in the spring so I know it is done right...wasn't sure I wanted Toyota's CRC applied anyway after seeing some of the sloppy jobs done on other members trucks.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to rent a coil spring compressor in the SLC area? Does the Autozone rental work ok?

Autozone usually has them. They just charge a deposit and refund it all when you bring it back

How many Taco owners do have on here? For the amount of Taco's I see in Southern Utah I would have to guess around 50+. Are there any meets?

I've been to Goblin Valley but the real gems are the slot canyons in the expanse of BLM land south of Temple Mt. Canyoneering there was awesome.

I'm going back to Utah for the holidays! Perhaps a meetup between Christmas and New Years is in order!

Haven't done too much other exploring there though, was wondering if anyone had any hidden hikes, canyons, trails, good vistas....

EpeditionUtah.com has a great archive of info and maps for the swell. My favorite area is Red Canyon personally. Definitely check out the Wedge, Black Dragon Canyon, Eagle Canyon, Fix it pass, Devils Race Track, Eva Conover, and the Buckhorn wash (MK tunnels, dinosaur footprints, pictographs).
