I went Relentless. Talked with them and looks like a solid kit. Thanks for the help though

Do any of you guys use rotopax gas cans? Are they really worth the money to save a little space?

I can't decide if it's really worth the money for the cans and mounts and everything

There pricey for sure I'm only getting the one for water. I will use a metal tank for the fuel.

I was thinking of doing 1 water and 1 fuel and linking them together and mounting them to the bed, but I just can't decide

Good to know! I seen they sell the spouts separate, I wonder if that was with or without the spouts

I've used them and can say they are a high quality product. I personally use Sceptor cans for fuel and water. Rotopax is an excellent way to go if you have limited storage or mounting options. If you've got plenty of spaces to store your cans the there is no real reason to buy them.

You could also give them a call and get some of their blemishes for about half the price. Usually list them on their sight. They are up in Logan, so a bit of a drive from SLC area, but well worth the drive to save $40-$80!

I just run a tie down strap through the handles and hook the ends to the front tie down points in the bed. That way all that weight is more centered on the truck.

Does any of you know if there is a reason manufacturers install u bolts with the nuts at the bottom instead of the top? Is it just for the ease of working on them and majority of consumers don't get in situations where they might get hung up?

I'm in bountiful Utah and I've just fucked myself. I've gone and gotten myself stuck beyond my capabilities of self retrieval. I went out after work for a ride up skyline drive. Going up wasn't a problem until I couldnt turn around. Backing down I got pulled into the ditch.

So now I need some help. Is there any place around here that does retrieval?

I've seen two other vehicles stuck out here that were gone this morning. I don't know if they had friends that helped or not. I don't want my truck here till spring. If I have to I'll shovel a mountain of snow to get this thing out.

I'm out now. Shoveled for a while and then a four runner showed up and pulled me out. Thank you.
