Anyone have a truck they're parting out near the Uintah Basin, Vernal area? All I need is a tail light cover/ lense, possibly just the whole taillight depending on price.

    Thank You

Dang I replaced both tail lights because my drivers side was broken. But if you can find one around salt lake I'm heading to vernal on April 16th and can bring it with me.

I don't desperately need one, mines just shorting out sometimes. After a few "soft" taps it works again, prolly just get some aftermarket ones hopefully sooner than later.

Anyone know a shop that could look at these/ check the nitrogen pressure in these? Preferably closer to the Uintah Basin.

How is Everyone doing? We are sponsoring an event down in Delta, Utah. The Famous Old School Rock Crawl.

    AYL is there every year.

    Bring the Whole Family.

Delta is a small community and this brings out many locals from the area making it a great time for everyone.

If your coming from up north there are some New Trails opening up in Eureka that are great for Expedition

    Events Held

The Old School Rock Crawl itself - This gets back to the roots of the Sport "Rock Crawling". If you can remember the days of 4Wheeler magazine and CRAWL having Rock Crawling events where we were inspired to get a rig of our own, this event will bring back the memories. Bring your son or daughter and raise the next generation of off-roading enthusiasts.

Rock Cross - An event similar to Ultra 4 Racing

Lawn Mower Races - These are a hoot to watch. Great small town fun.

Anyone in the UT area who has driven the White Rim trail and is willing to chat (phone, IM or IRL in the SLC area)? Just got my '10 TRD Off Road. My wife has mentioned a couple times that she wants to explore Canyonlands (I think she is thinking passenger car/pavement) and I'd like to know more about White Rim, level of expertise, reasonable itinerary, etc. I'd appreciate any info I can get! (I'm thinking about a late Sept trip).

I noticed on the other thread that were neighbors. I'm also next to copper hills high. It's been a while since I did white Rim but I might be able to help you out. There are 2 local forums that you should definitely check out also.

    -Rocky Mountain Extreme @RME4x4.com
    -Expedition Utah @expeditionutah.com

If I can help let me know

White Rim is fairly easy. Most the trail is Dirt Road. The switch backs in the beginning you just need to be paying close attention because of the risk of a tall cliff on one side. My suggestions are to have a full tank of gas and possibly a extra 5 gallon fuel jug. The trail is just over 100 miles. Bring lots of water. Some times during August the rain can wash away what use to be easy trail so with any wild land conditions just be prepared. Bring a shovel and I always suggest Maxtrax when traveling alone. Also tell someone where your going when you are just one vehicle, just like any hiking or skiing trip.

Some of the favored camping spots are White Crack, Murphy Campsite and Potato Bottom Canyon. The entire route is well-marked. Around 65-68 Miles in is Fort Bottom Hiking Trail. Its about a 2 hour hike. There are some pretty cool Indian ruins.

    Hope this helped.
