Ok I think I have narrowed down my wheel search. What do you guys think Classic II Black or Classic Lock Black?

RC Freak has the first ones, I almost bought the second one but I deiced to go with the method double standard. I still like the MT though

 

I was going to go with the Classic Blacks when I got mine, but I didn't have the money even with my employee discount at Discount Tire... I'm not a fan of the locks so I would go with the plain Blacks

Any chance you can hook up a TW brother with a good deal on a set of KM2's?

 

I worked there in the winter and technically I'm still employed there but they just haven't scheduled me because they haven't needed me. I have two other jobs and go to school full time and I pick up enough shifts at one job to be full time there too.

As far as I know they do, I was going to go through them to get me a set but after the cost of shipping them in from factory and having to wait I decided against it. What size KM2s?

 

If those 16inch MT Classic II Black wheels will fit I want some 285/75/16 KM2s

Sweet videos Jan! Thanks for sharing. Did you end up running the whole trail on fins and things or part of it? I am headed down there in a month but I'm new to the Tacoma and worry about taking it on that trail, mainly because of the two major ledges I remember from running it on my quad. I don't want to jack up the new ride and am trying to decide whether to flat tow my old cj down or not or just run the taco. Would love to get your perspective/advice! Thanks

 

nice videos jan...glad to see you got out there this early...definitely enjoyed the multiple perspectives on that one climb there..what type of mount setup did you have in the back of the bed? that's a cool angle!

 

I ran the whole thing, only took video for the last bit though.

I have driven all of Fins with a completely stock 2010 TRD OR at least twice before as well. My main concern was, and still is the rear bumper clearance; I go extra slow coming down from things, and try to slide the truck on the tow point when I expect ground contact.
That's the only thing that comes to mind regarding Fins N Things, other than picking a good line and keeping it low and slow.... but that goes without saying

Thanks! The on-truck mount was done with a tripod and a number of carefully tensioned bungee cords. One of the tripod legs was bungeed up against the rear load bar (for the bike rack), and the other two legs were in the 90 degree crevice where the bed meets the tailgate.

 

anyone else planning on doing Tough Mudder when it hits Miller Motor Sports park in October? I'm all signed up, just wondering if any other TW Utah guys are going
