@DJB1 @H3llRid3r and anyone else who would like to come. I have a pretty good route mapped out, it will be a whirlwind 2 night tour of the Swell, should be lots of fun. I've driven all the roads in the past in a Subaru (with some rock stacking on Devils racetrack) so any stock Toyota will be fine. Both planned camp spots are under a fire ban for obvious reasons but could be lifted so bring a bundle or 2 of fire wood just in case. I'll calculate the mileage tomorrow to see if extra gas cans will be required. Dinner is on me Saturday night, post up any food allergies/restrictions so I can plan accordingly, fend for yourselves the rest of the meals. I probably can't leave on Friday before 3, what time works for everyone?

Xcellent! I’m excited to go with some locals. We need to get something like this going at least a couple times a year, and build the community. Thx @Jiveydude for putting this together.

Mighty generous of you to offer dinner. No food allergies on my end. I’m hoping my 18 year old will ride shotgun. He has no food allergies either. We’re pretty easy, when it comes to food.

I have two Jerrycans that I will bring with fuel.

Sometime after 3 works for me. Is there a place to meet up that works for everyone? I’m in the SLC valley, so can meet pretty much anywhere.

I'm super bummed. I'm picking up the keys and beginning moving apartments this weekend. Otherwise I'd be so in!

I've got some ideas for later this year that I'll throw an invite out for when they come close.

Hell yeah! We were wondering if you were on here. Kinda figured you were.. thought about leaving a note but was in a hurry to find camp! We're in Colorado now, headed to the Lake City area. So awesome! Delicate Arch was beautiful..

@XPOTRPR Haha small world, we are in Colorado now too. Trying to figure out what trail to do. Might head back to Moab in a couple days. Just can't get enough.

Have you done Providence Canyon all the way up to Mt. Logan in a Tacoma? Looks fun and I'm tempted to try it, but I've had two people say I shouldn't attempt without lockers. From some of the videos I've seen it's steep, but I think if I air down plenty and am careful with tire placement, I should be fine. Anyone have any experience with this run?

I haven't done it with my current Tacoma, but I have done it with my 81 pickup that I welded the rear spider gears. I haven't been up it in years though so I can't vouch for what its current condition is. Maybe run it from Mt. Logan down through Prov first to decide if you want to run it back up?

If that little voice in your head is saying it’s a bad idea, it’s probably a bad idea.

I’m going to say yes. I just can’t think of a DI on 45th, so I’ll Google.
