My bro is coming from Layton so I’m trying to find something in the middle so he’s not driving back too late or vice versa. The tunnel would be a blast to go out too though!

Yeah, that sounds like a smart call.

We can go explore the tunnel some other time.

The top of rio tinto mine is cool!! Half the ride is dirt . If you go done the backside towards Tooele gets fun of trail short cuts and such.

Hey everybody, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Blake, I just recently bought a 2017 TRD Pro in Cement and I love it. I've practically lived in it the past two weeks exploring. I am originally from Montana but moved to Logan for school in 2013. My wife and I are hoping to get a roof top tent in the text couple months. Looking forward to BS-ing with you homies! I'll try attaching a pic of the new rig. So far I took off the Tacoma TRD Pro wheels and threw on the 4Runner wheels. I also upgraded to Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70/17's.

My bro and I are doing this run on Saturday. We'll go to the tunnel and explore a couple other mine abandonment's out there if possible. From the looks of it it's an easy ride. Going to try and get some good pics while I'm out there for the gram! ha If anyone wants to come they're invited.

Yeah, it's a pretty mellow area. I'm flying back Friday night from Boston, but I'd be down to explore that area. I'm on your rocky mtn tacomas FB page so you can find my messenger. Just send me the when and where and I'll be there.

I think we're going to do an impromptu trip down to St. George this weekend instead. There are a few spots we want to check out down there. But we're going to do it next weekend. We should organize a meet and ride that would be fun @Gunshot-6A

Does anyone have skills in upholstery or know of a good place? Have a kit for heated seats just need to put the heated pads in the seats. Everything else is wired up.

Hi guys, can anyone recommend some good intermediate difficulty off road trails near Capital Reef NP. Preferably with somewhere to camp (blm style) along the way. Camp sites don't need to be big . I have a roof top tent, so fairly small foot print. Looking on spending two nights down there.

I can, @Brantaco. Cathedral Valley and Cedar Mesa both have primitive campgrounds. The South Draw trail is intermediate to difficult dry, impassable wet, with top-notch scenery. The visitors center in Fruita has free maps and knowledgeable park rangers.

I know its not that adventurous, but has anyone driven the Pony Express Road, Fairfield to Ibapah UT? I have some spare time at the end of the month and looking for a road trip... Pros? Cons? Do it? Dont be bothered with it??

I did this year! It was fun! We made it fish springs that’s as far west as we went. Pretty amazing place in the middle of no where. Con no reception out there so you’re kind of on your own out there. Pros adventure!!

I'd say its worth doing once. A friend and I did Fairfield to Callao, camped the night, then pushed south through Gandy and Marjum Pass to Delta and back up to the Provo area which was home base at the time.

@RyanL Went to Bolt and Nut Supply today. You were right. They got any piece of hardware you can imagine...except aluminum spacers like I needed...

The good news is they were able to figure out a work-around for me. Although, all of the google reviews saying the guys that work there have a bit of an attitude are true.

They do have a bit of an attitude. I buy from them for my work sometimes and they can be a little bit of a pain to deal with, but they normally have everything I need.
