I have looked at them and little disappointed with the material they are made from ( poly canvas ) Rather than a mix like the ARB RTT (poly/cotton rip stop canvas - 300GSM PU impregnated canvas ) and the Arb tents you can pick them up with out shipping charge at < www.4wheelparts.com > better price because the Annex is included. the Hutch RTT is fine if you only go out a little and give it mild use.

If your in the SLC county area, watch for backcountry.com 20% off one item. You can call them to apply it to a Tepui and local pick up from their West valley warehouse to save on the freight, I did that on a Kukenam and was out the door around $1200 ish

I'm surprised REI sells RTT they donate a ton of money to groups who try and block land access to 4x4s

True. But the average campground dwelling RTT equipped subaru doesn't need 4x4 access.

Plus I'd say REI doesn't specifically have it out for 4x4ers. Just a lot of their money goes to outdoors groups, whose conservation platforms/models happen to restrict motorized access.

Awesome! The last time I was on the trail (why I want to run in now) was when I was a boy scout in the early90's (pre drivers license). I have read a few recent trip reports of stock jeeps and stock land rovers running it no problem. But I have been wrong in the past i.e. "A stock Subaru should have no problem with a little rock stacking".

    Any other ideas for a trip from others? @DJB1 @H3llRid3r @SCHALICKE @Rockymtntacoma @anyotherfolksintoatrailride?

If you’re traveling I-15 thru SW Utah in the St George area, lots of places to camp, but I e also got several spare rooms, you’re welcome to crash there.

I'm pretty new to the area and saw signs to dugway when we left the highway. It might be just me

I was totally going to suggest this trail. I’ve never done it but read a bit about it. I’m totally down. When are you thinking?

There is a Southern Utah jamboree this month. Don’t recall the exact dates. I’ll check into it.

Edit: winter4x4jamboree.com. Unfortunately, it’s January 17, 18, 19. That doesn’t work for me. Looks cool though.

LOL! The classic Suby reference. You’re never going to live that one down. It must have been one hell of a Subaru. I’m picturing 35” tires on a Subaru LMAO.
