That's what I figured, how far can I shoot out there though? My buddy and I want to zero his .308 at 100 yards and try shooting at 800 yards

seems to be anything goes. always old tv and other crap out there. i'd guess 100 yards is roughly the length of the "range". we were shooting clays and messing around with my .45 and 10/22. while we were there somebody showed up and was shooting some sort of shotgun that was 10+ rounds. for whatever reason they were shooting at crap on the ground 10 feet away :not sure:
nobody has ever said anything when i've taken the 30.06 out there. park city also has a new indoor gun range but don't know much about it.

Go out to the west desert (I like shooting on Stansbury Island) but be respectful and clean up all the garbage, too many people go out there and trash the the place. But be careful if you do get caught shooting glass/garbage you can get a ticket. Rumor also has it tannerite is also illegal on BLM land now. :(

If it were me I would fill up a trash bag or two before shooting just in case a pig does roll up at least they can recognize your not there to trash the place.

Helped my Bro. in-law pick up his next project. The plan so far is a Lexus V8 swap, SAS and chopping the back off.

Don’t be surprised if we see it at a future meet.

And yes I gave him a lot of crap about the “Island Girl”sticker. :D

Park city is awesome but it's expensive until you learn your way around living in a resort town. When you have it figured out it isn't bad. I love having everything a city offers nearby without having to actually deal with the city on a daily basis.

Yeah I've been there a few times and love it. My wife wants to open a couple businesses there. The main problem for us now is finding a place to rent that allows dogs and affordable.

Sold the truck to a guy for $8650, kept the sound system. Got $13.67 more than my loan payoff so I'm happy.

Honestly man, I like the Salt Lake Valley, it's just a short drive up to Park City and much cheaper to find a place in the Valley

Hi everyone I'm new to TW and about to be new to Utah. I started a new thread about this but it was suggested I try here. I am Moving to Ogden in July and looking to get a 2012 DCSB TRD OR after the move. Any suggestions on dealers in the area that are good to work with or dealers to avoid?
