Got mine from Menlove in 2006, they had pretty good customer service.

I got my truck from Menlove in Bountiful as well but since is sold and went to Toyota Bountiful they service has gone down hill in my opinion. I tore a small corner piece of my clear bra on the and they fought me when I took it back to them to fix it. When I bought it I was told it had a lifetime warranty and nothing could hurt it. Keep in mind I paid like $500+ for the clear bra.

After I told them I was active on the Tacoma forums and was going to share how crappy the service has gotten they fixed the problem.

I'm not sure there is Toyota dealership in Utah that I would gladly buy from.

Yeah I had a couple issues with my truck when I first bought it at Menlove and they got everything fixed but it took a good amount of round trips and even knowing that I lived 120+ miles away, it was hard for them to even give me any gas to make the trips. I think any dealership you buy from they will kiss your ass before the sale but after they get your money, they dont treat you as good as before.

I would have to suggest you do a Google search for toyota dealers in our area, then use that info to do a BBB check on them. Personally I do not recommend Larry H. Miller dealerships.
If you decide to buy used, everybody is asking 2 - 5 over KBB Value. I was lucky when I got my '02 TRD. Just below hi blue book.

Thanks for all the responses. I have already had a forgotable email exchange with a Larry H Miller dealership so they were low on the list. I'm holding out hope I will find someone that will be great to work with.

Looking forward to joining the Tacoma community!

I bought my 2011 Taco from Karl Malone Toyota and have had an excellent experience with them. I'm under warrantly so maybe that is why but nothing but great people. The waiting area is sweet too. Free old school video games, XBOX, TVs, popcorn and coffee, etc. They did my TSB leaf upgrade with no hassle and fast. They spent days working on a break issue and were nothing but supportive once I showed them what it was doing. I wouldnt hesitate for a second to send you there.

Ohh yea, and I bought mine through CostCo.com and it made the buying experience SOOO easy. Fixed price that is better then I would have neogotiated. The sales guy just puts the paperwork in front of you and you sign and drive. If I had it to do over, I would have gotten my financing from someone else. They squeezed me on the interest rate at the end. It would have been better to get the rate I wanted from a CU or bank and then bought the car from them at the CostCo price.

    Thats my 2 cents man.

Hey guys I figured I would give the Utah crowd first picks on my Yakima roof rack I am selling since shipping would cost an arm and a leg. I will take some pics tonight of the setup but was just curious on if anyone was interested in the first place. I spent over $450 for this setup a few years ago and it was only on my truck for about 1 year and its been sitting in my garage ever since so its been out of the weather and elements. I went with the OEM roof rack instead so thats why I am selling this setup. I am going to let it go for $300 straight up and it includes everything. Here is a list of what I am including:

    -Q Towers
    -Q 127 clips
    -Q 128 clips
    -58" crossbars
    -Yakima Fairing
    -SKS Locks -all 4

Like I said, this is a full setup and you wont need anything more for a complete install. Its all plug-n-play so no drilling or cutting. PM me if your interested.

Well here is the scoop. We agreed on a price and he got started on them Wednesday morning. Texted me that afternoon and said he would like to finish a few things up Thursday morning. I went up to his shop (off 12th street in Ogden) and picked em up. It was funny because he created 2 driver sliders. Crazy mistake but he was cool about it. I ran over to Home Depot to get my paint and by the time I got back he had cut off one of the arms and moved it so they were correct.

He pointed me to some Rustoleum paint that has a "hammered" texture. Its supposed to be black but after I applied it, I swear its a damn close match to my metallic gray paint! My brother in law and I fine tuned the arm length and welded it all up Thursday night. Headed out to Moab Friday morning. I didn't have to use them but they are heavy and hard core.

He gave me some stickers and business cards to take to Moab. I think everyone got one. Trail Ridge is a good shop. 2 guys and they seem to know what they are doing. He had a 4 seater buggy that he built in there. At half the price of most comparable sliders I felt pretty good. Plus he built them in 2 days notice and I didn't have to pay shipping.

    Here are some pics:

I love this bumper. Thats pretty cool that the receiver hitch is behind the plate and those tabs for a u-bolt are major tuff. Whos building that for you? Is it BAMF?

My buddy fabbed my sliders up, he's doing a few other members on here as well. If you want I can ask him for a quote. We're gonna start making skids too, once those are on my rig- then I think it'll be bumpers :D

I need to do some skids for sure. I think my next big purchase for the taco is new tires. My Bridgestone H/T are pretty intimidating
