Hey guys and girls  I just got a new trailer and want to take a trip into the areas around Moab, Canyonlands, and places around there. I know there are tons of places to camp that aren't in a campground but the options are overwhelming to be honest. And the trailer adds a question that I'm not sure how to plan for. I'd hate to be on a trail where trailers dont belong. I have 10 days to explore and relax and take in the views. Can you guys recommend some places to camp? Here's a picture of my truck and trailer for reference. You can PM me if you dont want to post it up here. Thanks for any suggestions! 20190524_134244(1).jpg

I know a few of you mentioned heading up Norway Flats this past weekend. Wondering if you went and how far/if you made it to the end, near Big Elk Lake

Not to the top (bald pass), but Norway Flats is only about 13 miles from Kamas. I went up on Thursday but just a mile or so. B7EF82A6-17BF-4F8F-917A-E7E41EAEC054.jpg

Just watched the first 4 on Sunday. gonna circle back tonight for the finale.

What a great depiction of the vice grip party politics had on the incident and is still pervasive in Russia.

Exactly, people more loyal to a flawed ideology than doing the right thing.

And siloing people into only their "area" rather than listen to the broader recommendations.

Does anybody know if the gate to cross the stream up at Silver Lake (in AF Canyon) has opened yet? The gate at Tibblefork is open, but the upper one at Silver Lake isn't last I checked. Just checking to see if anybody has or will be going up that way before Friday.

SLC is pretty rad. I'm Mormon, and I can't handle some of the surrounding towns here in Utah. But SLC feels like a much more diverse place. You'd really love it here. I'm an Idaho transplant, and have been here for 7 years. Less than 5 hours to the best parts of the state, and tasty places to eat. I'd love to help offer any help, if I can! As I'm sure is the case with the rest of the guys in here. You've found a good thread of locals!

Shhhh... SLC is full of crazies, cancer-inducing smog inversion, and ugly scenery with only chain food to eat. States full.

Could not agree with this more. Plus, only 3.5 hrs to Moab and 5 hrs to Jackson Hole. Great spot to be

Thanks man! Yea I've been kind of following this thread since Gunshot6A tagged me. Seems like a cool group, and rad place to be, with all the outdoor stuff. Which is one of the major reasons we're trying to move out of LA.

    Not much stock left.
    Yes! Absolutely loved this show.

I heard a lady on the radio today that lived through it. She said that they were totally in the dark. The government told them nothing.
