Police have a pretty good idea of the weight based on the type of trailer. They're going to be looking at empty weight because they can't look inside and see if its loaded or not. Licensing for a trailer doesn't cost a fortune, but you may want to consider it if the cost of a ticket is pricey.

Certainly. If there isn't anyone out there that wants to trade up I will probably just sell it and purchase an Ayer new.

Anyone here have experience getting rid of a skunk?

I have one that has apparently decided that under my back deck and in my front planter is a suitable home.

That's what made that trench in the grass going from the firepit to the deck. That must be it's path between where it lives and the back garden that it must snack on.

Also gotta figure out how to get that tupid flag pole out of the ground. Try as I might, that wasn't coming out when I was yarding on it last night.

Get a live trap and trap the little guy. Cover the trap with a tarp or something and relocate the stinker. If you keep the trap covered the skunk won't freak out and spray. Skunks are pretty mellow unless they get frightened.

They sell live traps that are completely enclosed, people say they don’t spray, never experienced it

I had one under my shed a few years ago. I put a bunch of napthalene moth balls under there and that seamed to do the trick. Then I sealed up under the shed with a fine mesh hardware cloth buried under the ground several inches. Just in case the skunk didn't come out or there were baby skunks I build a one way exit in the hardware cloth, you can look up how to do that pretty easily. Skunks have a unique shaped head that will let them exit but no re-enter. I left the exit in place for a few weeks then completely sealed up under the shed.

Just got back from a last-minute, spur of the moment trip to SW Colorado. Was going to head toward Bryce/Capital Reef but decided to escape the heat instead.

Left Tuesday and made our way to Telluride for some food and brews and decided to check out Bridal Vail falls before finding camp for the night. 444427AE-0D30-42B6-A4C5-4B89505BB28E.jpg
Packed up the next morning and ripped down to Ouray and stopped to stretch the legs. I love these small mining towns and the history they hold. After window shopping for a bit and making more coffee, we went over Red Mountain Pass towards Silverton. Decided to hit up Ophir Pass on the way as we heard the east side was clear. 87BB62FB-567F-4BE5-B28E-4EC40975DC32.jpg AFAC85FD-B145-4F19-B237-B6402E3D4F06.jpg 7FE7A625-0669-45B2-A6BE-5DF0FBBF2791.jpg
Beautiful and pretty quick trail that I’d highly recommend. At the top of the pass, it was us in the Taco and 5 jeeps. Felt a little fat to be honest haha. We made our way to silverton for a late lunch and stopped at Coffee Bear for sweets and cold brew before hitting the road to Durango for dinner at Ska Brewing.

We planned to camp just outside of Mesa Verde NP on some BLM land, but decided to make the drive a little shorter on the homestretch and decided to make our way to our favorite spot in Moab instead. Set up camp in the dark and woke to an incredible sunrise. A nice end to a quick and dirty trip.BD17322C-AC94-4782-9E77-0C7F861D5C86.jpg
