A backyard like mine was meant to entertain and Id say it served its purpose. Glad the turnout was as good as it was, and got to meet new people and see some others I havent seen in a while. And to pet Murph. :D

How was UTOR this year? Did they have a good turnout? How were the vendors?

I'd got there 12:30PM, it was alright, not overly crowded. Turnout seems decent, probably could have been better, but I did miss the beginning so I'm not sure what the total turnout was. The vendors were cool, Heretic Studios was my favorite. They have some good sh!t.

I got there about 1030. Wasn't very busy, some of the vendors hadn't even shown up yet. They're saying there was around 2k people that went though I'm not so sure about that.

For all those that attended UTOR on Saturday, did they do the demos they advertised on their webpage?

They have listed traction boards recovery demo, high lift recovery, overland essentials, strap recovery and winch recovery. Did they do any of these and were they any good? I could use some of that stuff.

They did. The traction board demo was pretty underwhelming, but what can you do with a plastic board? hilift and strap were informative, but the winch recovery was a "rollover recovery" demo, and Dan and Eric made it hella easy lookin even though I know it was tricky.

So Cruiser Outfitters used to be down the street from me before I moved to my new house. Looked up their new location in Murray...they are almost literally across the street. Like 200 feet.

    This doesn't help the wallet.

They did the demos I only made it to the overland essentials, which was basically a Q & A with a panel of a few people overall I though it was good I expected a few more vendors to be there but it was nice most all of them were local really helped there were a ton of really sweet rigs it was fun to walk around and check out!

Not Cruiser related this time, but i have an idea in my head that involves the words triple and bypass...

My dilemma is whether to go for a smaller triple bypass which gives better damping but less travel or a longer travel that gives me more flex but less damping options.

Given how i use the truck, i like option 1 since Im not out there flexin it out and need the travel but am mobbin through the knolls desert more often than not where the cushion would be nice.

@zscott @concentric_killa got any thoughts on the matter?

I went with 12's but would have gone with 14's had the right deal come up. More travel is more travel and valving is actually quite easy to set up.
