I also approve of Sandy. Mainly because my nearly next door neighbor lets me utilize his bb gun and chainsaw.

So I want to Raptor line the rest of the truck, so I bought the raptor black and practiced on my bumper. I sanded it down and then applied the UPOL Acid Etch Primer. Also, I bought the "Professional" raptor spray gun. The gun is worth the investment I sprayed this at 80 psi and it is the perfect amount of texture I was looking for.

Hopefully I can do the truck sometime in October.

I mean, downtown is just like any other city. The exception is you can find ample parking in SLC thats like $8 for 10 hours of parking, vs other places I've lived like DC or LA where it's $10 for like 2 hours and hard to find. Thank goodness I could abuse my Pentagon parking pass on the weekends.

Meh. I’ve lived downtown SLC for the past few years... that’s not been my experience.

I mean you can choose to pay in a pinch, but there is so much free parking available. Even UTA (public transit) is free across the downtown district.

SLC and Utah in general is getting a taste of that big money and they will get your money one way or another.

The majority of the parking lots and spaces on the streets are paid/metered parking, but there are free parking areas as well. There are 2 hour free parking on the streets on certain streets at certain times and there are free parking on the street at certain locations. You do have to do some recon, but it's there. Monday - Friday is pay to park on the streets. Saturday parking on the streets at a metered parking space is 2 hours maximum free. Sunday all day is free on the streets. Parking lots are pretty much always pay to park. This info is all specific to downtown SLC.

Ok so my band played downtown last night and I actually did find a free parking spot. Had to walk like an ENTIRE block though, ugh.

Walk? Dude, we're in the 21st century. Between those bird scooters littering the sidewalks damn near everywhere, hover boards, and those one wheel skateboard things, you don't ever have to walk anywhere!
