So if anyone is looking for Utah themed decor, Anderson Design Prints are really cool and super affordable. It was like $15 for each 11x14 print on good paper.

Something non tacoma related but is in the modification category. I am officially a chimney removal expert.

I didn't need my chimney anymore since I moved and upgraded the furnace and have an electric heat pump water heater. As a result it was taking up space. I am doing a basement remodel/ finish in our home from the 1950's. It wasn't as difficult as I had anticipated but it is still a top down, piece by piece project...

Nice work! That looks like a steep roof too. I wanted to remove my chimney when we redid our roof last summer, but the avenues historical district said I had to keep it...

Haha. Now I can finish all my framing in the basement. Over the past couple of weeks, I have had the concrete cut, drains put in for a bathroom, and then I re-poured the concrete. I am glad I hired a plumber for the drains since we ran into little snags but the master plumber made it work!

Yea, luckily I dont have that historical business. I am still in sugarhouse however and some of the inspectors are slightly picky but so far my project has been good.

Very nice! I tore my fireplace out a couple years ago, chimney still poking through the the roof though cause I’m afraid of leaks. What are you doing on the roof?

One day I will tear off this roof and do a metal one. For now, I bought a Gal of Henrys and coated my plywood insert and nailed the existing flashing to it. I then coated that with some more henrys. I then bought a pack of shingles and nailed those in place starting at the bottom. I also put some henrys along the edges (under the shingles).

Not the best fix, but I feel that I would have created more damage trying to correctly integrate the new shingles with the old. This weekend will be the test!

Any of you local guys running Duratracs? I need new tires asap and they are in the running, just concerned about how they perform in the snow after they get a few miles on them and start to wear out.

I had them on my FJ, they were good in the snow but they can get LOUD. I currently have 285 Toyo's on my tacoma and I love them.

I am in the same boat...need tires.

I ran two sets of BFG TA Ko's. They are a great tire, but they seem to have balancing issues as they wear out. Mine have about 65k miles on them and they are impossible to balance now. They have shook pretty good the last 15-20k miles.

That is the reason I am not considering another set of them.

    Toyo AT's or MT's?

Are they exclusive to Les Schwab or can they be purchased at Big O?

Also considering Cooper ST Pros or AT's

They're AT's but I haven't had one issue with them going anywhere. I'll get another set for sure and they've worn really well. I got them from Discount Tire, I think you can get them from anywhere though unless i'm mistaken.

I think I've narrowed it down to ST Maxx's or Duratracs.... Any thoughts?

I'd go with the Maxx. Pros are pretty overkill and hella loud unless you need them. Maxx seem to be a bit more refined and almost as capable except maybe in mud.

I can attest that the ST Pros are a big hit in Africa with some cool dudes doing cool things over there. So at least they can handle a ton of abuse.
