How long did that take you to do it? I’ve been wanting to do this. Haven’t been on the Pony Express in a long time.

To get to Deep creek it’s about 130 miles past 5 mile pass and can take anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on conditions. It’s a fun drive, we should plan on getting out there one of these weekends

    Yeah, let’s do it.

Edit: Did you add the snorkel recently? I don’t recall noticing it before?

Where’d you go out in Stansbury? Looking to find some nice late winter/early spring spots.

We were just messing around on the north side of the island, and then worked our way around the (edited) west side. Surprisingly dry out there!

Any mud out there? I've been trying to find somewhere to get dirty, but everywhere I've been is either frozen or too dry

There was a puddle that almost swamped a 100 Series Land Cruiser. So you can definitely find it, or avoid it if you want to. I also misspoke, we were on the west side, not the east side. East side is gated off.

I’m selling a set of 4 wheels. Black RRW RR1 +0 offset. They’re a year old and have absolutely nothing wrong on them. $600 obo. I’d love to get them to someone from here that could use them. If there’s a better place to post this let me know

Does anyone know of a local person/shop that is an “expert”, when it comes to suspensions on Tacoma’s?

I don't know about expert, but the boys at Cruiser Outfitters are pretty damn smart with Toyotas. However, what Gunshot said, what are you looking for? There's a lot of smart guys around here.

I mean the fact that half the shop goes down to support Monica when it races the 1000, they know a lot about a lot.

Mostly, I just want to go over what I’m currently running and see what can be done, if anything, to improve it.

Also, my ass end has started to sag. I know I have a lot of weight back there, but what so I do about it. Would Hammer Hangers for example help? Mostly just ask a lot of questions, then decide what to do.

I think hammer hangars would stiffen up the back end, but I don't think you'd really gain anything from it. The travel would be more quality, but if you are stressing your leaf springs, you're stressing your leafs. Maybe a new spring pack like deavers, etc are in order. @blackout14 also offers some good spring packs that were very competitive with the cost of Dakars and were a little more stout as I recall.
