Been pretty loyal to the Transition guys for a while. Rad bikes and good vibes, definitely the best company to give money to. New Sentinel specs look pretty sweet although they're giving it more travel which kinda bums me out but it'll be fun.

I guess I mean the high elevation part of the season. Like the >7500' and north facing trails in PC and AF where the dirt is as good as the UT dry climate allows. Sometimes those are only good for 3 months. But then we get the desert and plenty of lower elevation stuff. Can't really complain. Just a little jealous of the people who live in some of my fave bike towns like Squamish, Rotorua, and Bham who get to ride all but maybe 2 weeks of the year if they want to. They also don't get our snow which Id definitely miss if I was somewhere else

And yeah man, love the Drink Water stuff. Those guys are rad too and I love me some water so I like supporting them. I always throw a couple stickers on the bike.

Definitely. And it changes year to year. Sometimes stuff like Pinecone or Tibble are rideable deep into November. Other times they're done in September :(

Its a cool bike. Beefy thing but it at least its worth it on the downs. This summer I did a couple rides in Oakridge and Whistler where there was almost 6000' of climbing and it definitely sucked but climbed well enough for like a 34lb bike.

Figured I'd ask. Knowing myself I'd fuck it up somehow.

BTW thanks again for helping with those rotors. Night and day difference, so much better.

I ran cushcore front and rear in colorado last year for park and enduro races. Now that i swapped from a carbon to aluminum bike, i'd like to keep my bike weight in check and am considering removing the CC, anyone with any opinion on that for most of Utah's riding?

North of Geezy / Moab, CC is pretty unnecessary. But for the red rock areas, it wouldn't be bad.

Saint George. And we "shhhh" about GJ. The word is getting out. Gotta embrace rule #1 of that club we don't talk about.

Also, the advantage of CushCore....you can use them as runflats basically. and run your tire pressures REAL low. I run mine at 20psi regularly. makes for some great traction on the downhill. not so much on the uphill but hey, more exercise! the sidewall support is amazing and it feels odd first few times.

Anyone have projects they are working on besides the rigs?

    Ill go first:
Basement project. 400 sqft of it is not included on our appraisal due to it being 'unfinished' when we bought the place. So I filed permits last year and went to town. I have done the following:

    - Removed the Chimney
    - Moved/ upgraded the furnace
    - Added a 100A sub panel to the basement.
    - Upgraded our Water heater to a electric Hybrid
    - Tied into our cast iron drain and added new drains for a shower/ Toilet/ Vanity.
    - Replaced all Basement Windows
    - Added 1.5" xps paneling to the concrete walls
    - Built conventional 2x4 walls in front of the foam panels.

I have been doing this mostly myself in between my offshore work schedule. I am slowly getting it done... I am finally at the point where the framing is done and I can focus on all the remaining electrical and plumbing. Added Frame.jpg
