lol. that sounds like an absolute blast....pun intended

Yeah, I heard the northern areas got some snow. I was out biking in the winds. Was not fun. Just about fell off my bike and got blown away. literally.

I did but I was in my anonymous gray F150 and it was still dark, AND we both had tinted windows.

As long as you waived, then it's all good. I forgot that you sold out and got the F150 DD. :D

We're basically banned from doing anything and everything anywhere. It's really starting suck.

I'm in Salt Lake County. Not sure there are a lot of options.

Yea, we keep debating about heading out to the west desert for a night or two. It's technically illegal since we're in Salt Lake City, but we could easily do it without ever coming anywhere near another person. Still, it's probably best just to follow the rules for once!

I think it's kind of silly....that rule. Especially going out west...you won't be near anybody or risk really spreading the rona' somebody did have it. I'll be heading out this weekend with the girl to do some camping. 60~ weather will be nice!

The rule isn't in place because an individual, taking appropriate precautions, is going to spread the virus. It's in place because we live in a large and diverse society and not everyone is going to be taking precautions or acting appropriately. Normally, I totally agree that silly rules/laws can be ignored, but in our current situation it's best for all to just comply. The risks are just not worth it, especially since your actions likely affect many others.

I'm saying this from the perspective of someone seeing the damage of this situation firsthand as I work in clinical lab testing and I'm directly involved in running COVID-19 testing.

Also, please know that I won't judge you if you still go. I'll mostly just be jealous.

That's understandable. We are still 'allowed' to go out camping, they just want us to stay in our own county, I thought? Regardless...I will be going out (staying in my county) to enjoy the outdoors and get away from everybody/thing.

Don't know where you live, but it is illegal and chargeable as a misdemeanor in Salt Lake City.

Even in SLC you're still allowed to go out on hiking trails, bike rides etc and whatnot as long as you're not congregating (last I read anyways). But I'm down in Saratoga Springs anywho.

It’s not selling out if it’s saving my precious Taco from the hazards of commuting. That’s what I tell myself...
