Ive been out golfing like a mad man, all the courses have been packed.

Even the Salt Lake City run courses re-opened up today so.... doesn't make much sense to me how they're doing this whole grey area thing, but im not going to complain.

This is the problem with the grey area thing. What they're saying is, we trust you're adults and you'll do the right thing. Too many are proving otherwise though. It's kind of sad that the opinion is until the government makes it illegal for me to go out, I'm going to go out.

I'm not sure if you're throwing a dig at me but if so, I'm not quite sure how much harm I could possibly be doing by playing golf?

Not at you specifically, but at this opinion, yes. By your own words, the golf courses are packed. The fact that they are packed says people aren't going out for essentials only.

All of this interpretation of what is "allowed" per the recommendations/laws in place is kind of missing the main point here. Unless you need to go somewhere for food or medicine, you should stay home. This will all be over much sooner, and with far fewer affected, if everyone just stays home. There's a good quote from an epidemiologist "If we could just freeze everyone in place, 6 feet apart, this pandemic would be over in a matter of weeks."

Certainly the government, city/county/state/federal, are not doing a good job of providing clear instructions and that's a big part of the issue.

Totally agree. Problem is, our government doesnt have the ballz to shut down the entire USA for the next three weeks. They should put out a federal mandate. My wife an I don't go anywhere besides the grocery store. Drove by liberty park the other day and there were so many people exercising, social distancing was completely out the window.

I agree for people not to go camping now, kinda risky. I am thinking of the worst case of someone getting a vehicle stuck and requiring a recovery. Seen alot of facebook posts on people getting stuck in the west desert lately. This thus endangers the people who may be doing the rescuing. Should be noted that most people who get stuck, are not prepared. If you decide to go out camping, have ample recovery gear and prepare for the worse (days of food + water + warm clothing). It could reach a point where someone will not come and rescue you due to potential virus spread.

I see what youre saying but preventative measures have been put in place. Walking only, have to pay online so pro shops are closed. Foam noodles in the holes so you're not touching anything aside from the ball and even then you've got a glove on. IMO its a pretty good way to get outside right now.

That's because they are afraid to be the bad guy. I don't know why the Governor cares, he isn't running for re-election. IMO they need to be far more firm in their directives and just tell people, look, if you aren't an essential, then your ass better be home.

Yeah, if people would just stay home, it wouldn't be needed. Clearly people don't understand that, so I don't care if it's from feds or local, a shelter-in-place order should be issued. New cases are still popping up, we are well past the two week period from when this all started getting crazy which means those people have caught this since these warnings were put in place.

Totally agree with this. You might be super careful, but dumb luck, someone else being stupid, or whatever could put yourself and others in unintentional danger. We've been needing to get down to our cabin to check on batteries, solar, etc but have held out due to this. That choice may cost us many thousands of dollars (if our panels are covered and batteries get drained and freeze it'll be $6K to replace them), but such is life, we're respecting the stay-at-home besides for essentials.

Having a strong desire to go with Archive Hammers, Cross tube, upgrade to the Deaver U402 Stage III leaf pack, upgrade to the Total Chaos Expedition LCA and add a 2nd King shock to the front end.

    Did I leave anything off?

It might be due to the clean air we are experiencing, but I'm not sure.

    hey guys,

I'm located in Elko NV and I stop by the SLC area every few months. I was curious, do you guys have a recycling center that pays for cans, plastic, and bottles? random question lol but I see some nice tacomas every time I visit

Yes, we do, at least for metak/aluminum. But the rate they are paying for aluminum currently (.35 lb, and probably less nowndue to the economy, since it has been a month or two since o have driven by) almost makes it not worth while to gather them and haul them over.

Right on, thanks for the info! Too bad they pay little for the aluminum
